As a condition of certification, all ACR UXO Archaeologists possess current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certifications. These archeologists are capable and willing to work within emergency or disaster areas, on remediation sites, or at facilities or properties where hazardous materials are known or expected to be present. This education further improves the ability of our archaeologists to work in any setting because of their advanced understanding of industrial health and hygiene, and because of their ability to proactively identify and report suspected areas of contamination.
